Dawson Counseling and Play Therapy, LLC was established in August 2017 as a small business to begin providing quality training, consultation, and supervision to counseling professionals.

About Lisa Morrell Dawson
Lisa Morrell Dawson, MA, MS, LPC, is a Registered Play Therapist—Supervisor. She received her training and education from KC Play Therapy in Kansas City, KS, while completing her MA in Counseling at MidAmerica Nazarene University. Lisa is also an LPC Supervisor in Oklahoma and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Additional certifications include EMDR, Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), TF-CBT, Autplay®, Postpartum Mental Health Certification (PMHC-C), Infant Mental Health endorsement (IMH-E®) by the Infant Mental Health Association, Playful EMDR Practitioner. Lisa is also a CIT (Consultant in Training) in EMDR.
Prior to becoming an LPC, Lisa was an early childhood educator in private and university settings. Lisa has been educating and supervising adults since 1992.

LaTasha Littleton-Guthrie, LCSW
LaTasha Littleton-Guthrie is an LCSW with a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and often incorporates family therapy with her children and teen clients. Her goal is to help others improve their quality of life by recognizing their emotions and thoughts, building social supports, and developing healthy mental health habits.
LaTasha enjoys pursuing evidence-based training in varied modalities to bring excellent therapy to her clients. She is trained in AutPlay Therapy, EMDR and IFS.
LaTasha believes providing a safe space for clients to feel heard and seen is the most pivotal part of therapy. She helps her clients approach their difficulties with compassion and clarity.

Sara Haas, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S™
Sara Haas, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S, CCPT-S, CPRT-S, NCC, is an assistant professor in the Counseling Program at Northeastern State University. Dr. Haas completed her doctoral degree in counseling at the University of North Texas where she specialized in play therapy. Dr. Haas is a Registered Play Therapist and approved by the Center for Play Therapy at UNT as a trainer and supervisor for mental health professionals seeking certification as Child-Centered Play Therapists and Child-Parent Relationship Therapists.

Kelli Baker, M.Ed SB-RPT™
Kelli Baker is the owner of Playful Pathways Consulting. She is a School-Based Registered Play Therapist, Certified AUTPlay Provider, and certified school counselor. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University and her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Kelli has presented at many state-level conferences in the field of education and school counseling, including OSSBA, Counselors Only Conference, PATH, CCOSA, OAHPERD, as well as nationally at SHAPE America Conference and ASCA American School Counseling Association Conference. The areas of specialty shared at all conferences included Therapy Dogs Within Schools and Students Leading Healthy Lives. Kelli was also a co-collaborator who attended the 2024 National Leaders Summit for America's Healthiest Schools.
Her professional experience includes serving as a classroom teacher, case manager within a mental health agency, juvenile probation counselor, and school counselor. Kelli’s passion is supporting children and families. She hopes that families will create lasting memories while learning valuable skills at Playful Pathways—where the goal is to create a way through play.

Sandy Bourgeois M.Ed, LPC-S, RPT-S™
Sandy Bourgeois Med, LPC-S, RPT-S has been in private practice in Altus since 2003 where she works primarily with children under the age of 6. S Sandy also contracts with Great Plains Youth and Family Services, Inc. as the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Supervisor. Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from Cameron University in 1996 and her Master of Education from The University of Oklahoma in 1998. She has been an LPC since September 2001 and a Registered Play Therapist since 2007. She is trained in IMH, PMH, EMDR, CPRT, as well as a Certified Child Centered Play Therapist.

Melissa Winterscheid, LPC-S, RPT-S™
Gone are boring supervision and trainings!! We bring creativity and a new voice to continuing education in all its forms.
Melissa has been working in the world of children and family therapy for over 15 years. She has a background in Adlerian Play Therapy™, and believes in approaching continuing education from fresh vantage points to increase skills and knowledge.

NanDee Walker, NCC, LPC-S, RPT-S™
NanDee has been working with children in the Tulsa community for over 20 years. She began designing continuing education trainings when she realized training and supervision should and could be more than checked boxes. She has a passion for Supervision and Ethics and works towards demystifying those concepts in the Mental Health community.

In addition to play therapy, Lisa specializes in topics regarding the LGBTQ+ community, neurodiversity, trauma, attachment, sandtray, sensory issues, ethics, and working with children and/or families. Presentations are customized to meet your group's needs.

In the past few years, Dawson Counseling and Play Therapy has provided training at Childhelp in Phoenix, AZ, Oklahoma, Missouri, Muscogee (Creek) Nation, Chicago, and School Counselors in Oklahoma.
As an early childhood educator, Lisa traveled and provided training in state, regional, and national conferences in Missouri, Kansas, Texas, and Iowa.
