Ready to put some playful ideas into your supervision? Find your power as a supervisor and assist your supervisees in finding their own superpower! Utilizing the Therapeutic Powers of Play, participate in play activities to help your supervisees experience and examine their own belief system and that of their clients. In this course, you will also learn about different models of supervision and experience how to integrate play therapy competencies into activities.
Objectives:

Demonstrate and practice 3 play therapy activities to use in supervision/consultation.

Identify and describe theories and models of supervision that are utilized in play therapy and therapy.

What is the best way to communicate the process and theory behind play therapy to others? Join us for an experiential course on locating resources, utilizing theoretical practice and language, and crafting your own personalized statement to communicate your process in play therapy!
Objectives:

Identify at least 3 reliable resources that explain play therapy and therapy with children.

Role play explaining therapy and play therapy to a caregiver, director, or co-worker.

Draft a personalized statement to communicate with others about play therapy.

The 21st Century Cures Act is here! How does this impact you as a mental health provider? Join us as we discuss the history and purpose behind the legislation and the requirements to be compliant. We will look at strategies for progress notes, blocking information, working with minors, accessibility for clients, and the ethical decisions to be made to stay in compliance.
Objectives:
