When and where does it all begin? This course will include information on definitions of sexuality and gender terminology, the earliest stages of gender and sexual development, gender development theories, current research, and activities. The discussion will focus on the therapist’s own self-awareness, experiences, the link between queerness and autism, social bias, and how to support children and families in exploring their identity.
